I have been getting a lot of requests for this recipe lately, so I thought I would kick off my blog by sharing it with everyone. Make these fudge brownies you own by adding rolos, m&ms or, my personal favorite, reeses peanut butter cups, on top.
Yields: 16 large brownies
Ingredients
- 1 cup butter, melted
- 2 tablespoons cooking oil
- 2 1/4 cups sugar
- 4 large eggs
- 4 tablespoons pure vanilla extract
- 1 cup flour
- 1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 package chocolate chips
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 350°F
- Lightly grease 9’x13′ baking pan with cooking oil
- Combine melted butter, oil, and sugar together in a medium-sized bowl. Whisk well for about a minute. Add eggs and vanilla; beat until lighter in color
- Add flour, cocoa powder, and salt; gently stir the dry and wet ingredients until just combined (don’t over stir)
- Add chocolate chips and stir
- Pour batter into prepared baking pan
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the center of the brownies in the pan doesn’t jiggle anymore (the brownies will keep baking in the hot pan out of the oven)
- Remove and allow to cool before cutting
Enjoy!
