Ingredients:
- 2 cups flour
- 1 tablespoon cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
- 2 cups brown sugar, tightly packed
- 1/2 cup butter
- 2 large eggs
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1 bag cinnamon chips
- 1 bag white chocolate chips
Topping:
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 tablespoon butter, melted
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 350ºF.
- In a medium bowl, mix together the flour, cinnamon, baking powder and baking soda.
- Add brown sugar and butter to a saucepan. Cook over medium heat until melted and smooth (about 5 minutes). Remove from heat and cool for 10 minutes.
- Add the eggs and vanilla to the brown sugar mixture. Stir to combine.
- Stir in the four mixture. Add the cinnamon and white chocolate chips and stir.
- Spread the batter in a 9×9 baking pan.
- Put in oven and bake for 40 minutes.
- While bars are cooking, mix together the sugar and cinnamon in a small bowl for the topping.
- Take bars out of the oven and allow to cool for 5 minutes. Brush the top of the bars with melted butter and sprinkle with topping.
